Hourlux is a distribution company, based in the Netherlands specializing in exclusive timepieces and luxury interior objects. 

Founded in 2014 by Alexander Wijt and Kelaine Roethlisberger, the company benefits from their collective experience and expertise within the high-end watch industry on an international scale.

Our carefully curated portfolio consists of brands that are synonymous with premium quality and have distinctive stories to tell. These include QLOCKTWO, Carl F. Bucherer, SwissKubik, Scatola del Tempo, and DaqiConcept. They are all in their own right, objets d’art, that have achieved a beautiful balance between modern technology and craftsmanship.

Form meets function as our products are not only aesthetic but also functional in contemporary living. The recipients of numerous global design awards, our brands are regularly featured across top media channels. Our strategic partners across the Benelux and Scandinavia are passionate about their own businesses and showcasing our brands in aspirational retail spaces.

Alexander Wijt

Dutch-born, Alexander Wijt, a watch aficionado has fervently explored his passion for timepieces since his early childhood. This has led to a successful career in sales and brand management at leading companies such as Omega, Piaget, and IWC. He leads the company with his innovative thinking, out-of-the-box ideas, and strategic vision. Sales is his area of expertise as he maintains close contact with all our official re-sellers. 

Kelaine Roethlisberger

Kelaine Roethlisberger, originally from Switzerland, is a true scholar of horology. She developed her expertise having spent her career working with specialty brands such as Ulysse Nardin and Girard Perregaux. Her analytical thinking, sharp business acumen, and driven nature ensures that the company consistently operates at its peak. She currently leads Hourlux’s Finance and Logistic functions. 

Ghanaan Edwards

Ghanaan Edwards who is South Africa born, has extensive experience is retail managent and procurement after spending much of her career in the fashion industry. Her ability to achieve business objectives through innovative marketing strategies, creative PR, and excellent customer service ensures that the company is always a step ahead. She heads all Marketing and PR within the company. 

Rogier Klaasen

After completing a successful internship at Hourlux while pursuing his diploma in Business Management at Avans University, Rogier was promoted to Account Manager heading up his own portfolio of clients in the Benelux. He is talented in Sales, Training and Development, as well as being a natural team player. His results-driven mentality ensures that success is the only option.
