Hourlux is a distribution company specialising in representing exclusive timepieces, luxury jewellery, and accessories across the Benelux and Scandinavia.

Founded in 2014 by Kelaine Roethlisberger and Alexander Wijt, Hourlux leverages their extensive international experience in the high-end watch industry. With established relationships across both retailers and brands, the company offers a carefully curated portfolio of objects, renowned for exceptional quality, innovation, and timeless elegance.

Alexander Wijt

FOUNDER & SALES LEAD

Dutch-born, Alexander Wijt, a watch aficionado, has fervently explored his passion for timepieces since his early childhood. This has paved the way to a successful career in sales and brand management at leading companies such as Omega, Piaget, MONTBLANC, and IWC. He leads the company with his innovative thinking, out-of-thebox ideas, and strategic vision. Sales is his area of expertise as he maintains close contact with all our official re-sellers.

Kelaine Roethlisberger

FOUNDER & FINANCE / LOGISTICS LEAD

Kelaine Roethlisberger, originally from Switzerland, is a true scholar of horology. She developed her expertise having spent her career working with specialty brands such as Ulysse Nardin and Girard Perregaux as an Internatonal Sales Manager. Her analytical thinking, sharp business acumen, and driven nature ensures that the company consistently operates at its peak. She currently leads Hourlux’s Finance and Logistic functions.

Ghanaan Edwards

MARKETING & PR LEAD

Ghanaan Edwards, from South Africa, brings a wealth of experience in retail management and procurement, having spent a significant part of her career in the fashion and FMCG sectors. Her ability for achieving business goals through innovative marketing strategies, creative public relations, and exceptional customer service maintains the company’s leading edge.

Rogier Klaasen

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

After completing a successful internship at Hourlux while pursuing his diploma in Business Management, Rogier was promoted to Account Manager heading up his own portfolio of clients in the Benelux. He is a natural watch enthusiast with a talent for sales, training and development. His results-driven mentality ensures that success is the only option.
